VRF Rooftop Wide-View Installation

VRF Rooftop Wide-View Installation

Advanced VRF system installation spanning a large commercial rooftop, providing comprehensive climate coverage with state-of-the-art controls.

The Challenge

The facility's expansive rooftop presented logistical challenges for equipment placement, refrigerant line routing, and maintaining system efficiency across long piping runs. Additionally, the building's architectural constraints required creative solutions for indoor unit placement.

Our Solution

Our engineering team optimized outdoor unit placement to minimize piping distances while maximizing coverage. Strategic use of branch controllers and distribution headers ensured even refrigerant flow to all indoor units. The design accounts for Utah's elevation and extreme temperature ranges.

Scope of Work

Comprehensive rooftop survey and structural analysis, optimized equipment layout design, VRF outdoor unit installation, branch controller and header installation, indoor unit placement across all zones, refrigerant piping and brazing, controls programming, and performance verification.

Results & Outcomes

The system consistently delivers precise temperature control across all zones with minimal energy waste. The optimized piping layout resulted in lower installation costs than initially estimated and ensures long-term system reliability.
