Taco Time Commercial Ductwork
Commercial ductwork installation for Taco Time restaurant in Spanish Fork, including kitchen exhaust, make-up air systems, and dining area climate control.
The Challenge
Restaurant HVAC requires careful balance between kitchen exhaust, make-up air, and dining area comfort. The new Taco Time location needed a system that would handle high-volume cooking exhaust while maintaining positive pressure in the dining area and meeting health code ventilation requirements.
Our Solution
We designed an integrated ductwork system that coordinates kitchen exhaust hoods with make-up air units to maintain proper building pressure. The dining area receives conditioned fresh air through a separate supply system, keeping customers comfortable regardless of kitchen activity.
Scope of Work
Kitchen exhaust ductwork design and installation, make-up air unit installation, dining area supply and return ductwork, rooftop unit connections, airflow balancing, health code compliance verification, and final inspection coordination.
Results & Outcomes
The restaurant passed all health and safety inspections on the first attempt. Kitchen staff report comfortable working conditions even during peak cooking hours. The dining area maintains consistent, comfortable temperatures with no kitchen odor migration.
